Blue Peak’s Free Workshop – “Starting a Business”

Setting up your own business can be incredibly rewarding but also challenging with so many different things to plan, organise and implrement. It can be tempting to just plunge in but you need to get the essentials right at the beginning, so that you have a solid foundation from which to grow.
Back by popular demand! This workshop is aimed at anyone who has recently set up a business (or is thinking seriously about it) or already has a small business. It explores the practical considerations of planning and setting up your business from scratch as well providing established small business owners with reminders and guidance on best practice when it comes to the fundamental building blocks of a succesful business.
You will learn more about areas such as:

Business plans; preparation is key to success
Forecasting; how to ensure the numbers make sense
Business administration:

Sole trader or limited company?
Tax and Companies House compliance
Payroll?; Navigating paying yourself and others

De-mystifying legal terms (particularly regarding T’s and C’s)
Some practical tips around simplifying the onboarding, invoicing and cash collection process
An update on EU changes and Trademarks
