LEGAL REFRESHER DAY
The pattern of a day each year to catch up and check out the legal background to our work has proved popular. As a follow-on from our annual ‘Legal Matters’ Days for Curates and new first incumbents; those who are more established in ministry appreciate refresher sessions.
In this session, our Interim Registrar, Louise Connacher will focus on changes in the law that clergy need to know about, including: Data Protection, Vesture, Ecumenical relations, Relaxation of the requirements to hold services and Faculty matters.
There will also be time to raise any particular or general issues that you wish to discuss or ask about! Every time, participants leave having learnt loads that they didn’t know.
